GRÖN
A downloadable game for Windows
A DOOM clone for FrenJam!
I joined the jam halfway through, so I made this game in about 5 days. The game has three short levels which should should take just a few minutes to complete.
The game may be a bit loud but I've added an options menu!
Also when the player takes damage, the screen briefly flashes red!
Movement is done with WASD (or ZQSD if you're on AZERTY), sprint with Left Shift, interaction is E, Mouse is look, fire is Left Mouse and you can pause the game with Escape. That's all there is to it, hope you enjoy!

For something made in five days this is WILD. Really captures the authentic crusty vibes of a mid 90s "doom clone" that ended up tech wise somewhere between doom and quake
If i could offer a couple of suggestions? These are absolutely understandable issues given the short time frame the game was created in, but:
Some sort of run to allow the player to move at usual boom shoot pace might help. Moving around does feel kinda lethargic to me as is.
Ammo situation feels SO CLOSE to being perfect and feeling like you have to scramble for it... but I do think it feels a little scarce at points.
Outside of this? Pitch perfect. I think what really sells it for me is the buttrock ass midi picks.
Thank you so much for your comment! I'm keeping the ammo situation as is, but I did just update the game to add sprint (as well as volume/sensitivity options and pausing), so thanks again for the suggestion!
